City Drive In

For one night only, on Saturday October 12, the Adelaide Showground and the AFF will present a spectacular Drive-In event under the stars, with something for everyone.

The 1978 musical Grease, complete with follow-the-bouncing-ball sing-a-long subtitles will kick the evening off. Thirty five years on, and starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, Grease is still being discovered by new audiences, and still loved by those who have experienced it over and over. Gates open 6.00pm, film starts 7.45pm.

Then, at 9.45pm, the remake of the 1978 classic Australian horror flick Patrick will screen. Directed by Mark Hartley, produced by legendary exploitation mogul Antony I. Ginnane (also producer of the 1978 version) and starring Rachel Griffiths and Sharni Vinson. Patrick gives a nod to the old-school cult horror films and will have movie-goers on the edge of their (car) seats.
