Under climate change the world is a hotter, wetter, more dangerous place. However, the pain is not being shared equally. In Bangladesh, Lokhi and her family, who live on the flood-prone southern coastline, must leave their home and migrate to Dhaka, one of the most crowded and polluted cities on earth.

Rising sea levels, cyclones, undrinkable water, and erosion have forced many families to leave rural areas, and some 3,000 new people arrive in the capital every day. They have many questions (how long can we live like this? Where will we go? What use is anger without money?) but few answers. Some want to organise politically, some proclaim the message of doom, the majority simply eke out life one day after another.

This observational documentary showcases the struggle for survival and hope in Bangladesh, under a glowering sky.
